Sandy Bay resort is located on Malenge-Togean Island. Here you will find peace and tranquality nestled amongst the bountiful nature of the Togeans. If you'd like to take a break from water, Malange Island had many trekking trails. You can trek two hours across the island enjoying the jungle and flora and fauna to get to Melange village. Be sure to continue on along the kilometer long bridge to Pulau Papan the Bajo village to see how the sea gypsy people live. Sandy Bay staff will pick you up by boat, for a leisurely ride back to the resort. There is also a bat cave on the island along with monkeys, coconut crabs, hornbills and even tarsiers! Local guides can help you track down wildlife with a little luck!
